Meredith and Nick are two of the sweetest easy going people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Like most of our couples they came to me upon referral of a friend. Actual more closely than a friend really because they work with April’s brother in law, so we knew we needed to treat them like family! Trust me, they definitely felt like family!
The day started out like any regular Saint Louis summer day, hot with the threat of down pour. This was especially worrisome as April and I pulled up to the Highlands Golf Course because we saw the most beautiful little outside set up with ominous thunderheads in the distance. As quickly as we could, we got the dress outside to do those beautiful shots! Luckily a sweet staffer took the time to follow us out with a JUMBO umbrella ready to cover us at any moment should even one sprinkle fall. When it did I wasn’t worried one bit as we hustled inside because I knew I got the shot I really wanted.
The rest of the day was pretty easy peasy for us, we got along great with not only Meredith and Nick, but the entire wedding party. The rain quickly came and went, and after the wonderful ceremony we headed out for our location shots: Forest Park, Scottrade Center, and The City Garden. We ended the day at W.O.W {Windows OFF Washington} not to be confused with W.O.W {Windows ON Washington} and trust me if it is, it is a 4 block turn around.![]()
From the cute little “Alice in Wonderland “Eat Me” Cakes {April gave into temptation} to the wonderful butterfly accents this reception was the perfect ending to the start of a perfect new beginning. Congratulations to Meredith and Nick!
