When I first met Tara and Patrick last year for our “coffee date” I knew right away that we would be a perfect match I mean, obviously they are gorgeous and I was excited to shoot them, but even more was how they had their day planned.
First of all, they weren’t actually hiring us for their “wedding”. They were having a destination wedding – just because they wanted to go to the beach – YUM! So basically April and I were hired to be part of their “posse” for the party day. When I {Liberty} asked what they wanted for their photos they said – OUT OF THE BOX wedding photography. I remember Tara specifically saying to me “I DO NOT want anything green behind us. I want to go somewhere dirty and edgy” I was THRILLED! Not only because I tend to shoot fashion inspired and different, but also because it was something specific and I knew right where we should go! They were game for anything and really there are soo many photos to choose from to post, I originally had over 30 to show here but whittled it down a little. Also it HAS to be said that Patrick was THE most willing groom to be photographed I have ever worked with. I basically had to shove him our from in front of the camera most of the time, and when he was in the spotlight, I gave no direction. He simply loves to “pose” I cannot wait to design their album!!
