Hi, I am Liberty Edwards Owner and Photographer of “Mary Elizabeth Photography”. I am married to my very best friend, have a beautifully dramatic little girl and will deliver my son in just a few short weeks. Every day I think to myself, “Man I love my life!”, and to be honest I really do!
I started taking pictures when I was around 13 or 14.It started as a hobby with my best friend, dressing up like models and taking photos of ourselves all the time. Narcassitic? Yes, but normal for girls our age! As I grew up I tried new poses, new lighting and lots of different tricks in photoshop. Pretty soon, I started being asked to take photos for other people and realized this was something I enjoyed.
After working as an wedding photography assistant for 5 years, I felt like it was time to branch out and try new things. Then, when my daughter was born I began snapping photo after photo of her every move. I really felt passionate about what I was creating and decided to start my own company. Using my daughter’s middle name, “Mary Elizabeth Photography” was born.
Now I find that every new thing I do is exciting. Every new person I meet, family I shoot, and photo I edit adds to the passion. There is just something amazing about the interaction I can catch with my lens, the emotion I can evoke with a single photograph, the feeling I can leave with someone for a lifetime.
Ya, I guess you could say I love my job!
